Our story
Queens Without Crowns, Inc. was founded by Tangela Sloan after recognizing the need for a supportive community for women navigating life after the loss of their mothers.
Losing a mother can leave an emotional void that affects every aspect of life. Many women face grief, loneliness, uncertainty, and the challenge of moving forward without the woman who helped shape them.
Queens Without Crowns was created to remind every woman that although she may have lost her crown bearer, she remains a queen.
